Suggest Treatment For Severe Cold With Nasal Congestion

I recently had a bad cold with nasal congestion as the last and lasting symptom. I've used NeilMed nasal rinses. I can breathe well now. Just yesterday and today, I've had my nose suddenly start to drip clear, thin, yellow liquid now and then. The rest of the time it is clear. Should I get this checked or is it the tail end of a sinus infection?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it does not look like end of a sinus infection but it seems that the infection is still present and nasal dripping is due to use of yje nasal rinse which has loosened the thickened mucous leading to ease in dripping..
You need to take a short course of antibiotics like Erythromycin, decongestants like Phenylephrine if there is congestion, do steam inhalations and continue nasal rinses..
You can also keep your head slightly raised with chin down to ease in nasal discharge and it will also help in clearing infection faster..
Avoid being into air conditioners, avoid chilled foods, take soft diet and drink plenty of water..
