Suggest Treatment For Severe Constipation And Blood In Stool
I have had a lot of problem with constipation over the past couple of years and in the last year I ve seen blood with my BM s which my doctor says is probably from my hemorroids. However within the past two weeks it s gotten a lot worse after I began eating some fresh rhubarb sauce and a lot of raw vegetables like lettuce, carrots, and celery.
The main cause of hemorrhoids is constipation and treatment of constipation is necessary to prevent bleeding from hemorrhoids.
To help with constipation you will need to take plenty of fruit and vegetables with diet (plums and pears are full with fiber) and extra fiber supplements daily (over the counter in pharmacies). Drinking plenty and being active (exercising) is important as well.
Adding lactulose syrup one tablespoon twice a day for a few weeks will help make stools softer and easier.
If you have rectal pain with bowel movement you will need to use local ointment with steroid and Lignocaine to release pain so you can have easy and regular bowel movements.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
