Suggest Treatment For Severe Constipation

I was severely constipated and hadn t had a bm in almost a week after trying myself with Miriam 3x daily for 3 days I went to the ER and the did an enema and it worked to clear me out completely! Now a day later when I went to the bathroom and had a normal bm there was quite a bit of blood on the toilet paper when I wiped. So I wiped again and the same happened! Is this normal? I m worried!!!
