Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Fever In A Child
My 5 yr old son has had a bad cough - worse at night - associated with a pretty constant fever ranging from 102 - 106 degrees for the past couple of days. The really high temp has come up during the middle of the night 105 last night and 106 the night before. He has thrown up flem both nights from coughing so much. It s a very deep cough - not dry and not too wet. He also complains periodically that he is cold (we re in FL and it s 86 here!) His appetite has been pretty good and has regular bowel movements. He seems fine otherwise but the cough seems to be getting worse and he has almost lost his voice at this point
