Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Vomiting After Having Food
Hello Doctor.. Good Morning. My wife who is 31 yrs old is having severe cough problem so much so that she will vomit whatever she has taken in food and after vomit, the cough problem reduces. This happens occasionally. I do not know which Doctor to visit (is it a lungs problem or abdomen problem / chest problem).. Kindly advise and also which test should be done to diagnose as to what is causing the issue for her cough. She is advised Montec LC for 10 days but still she is not completely cured yet. Thank you Syed
As you told that your wife has severe cough problem. You did not mention since how long she is having?
As from the history you have given the cough she is likely to have seems allergic in nature.
It would be better if you could tell me the cough is getting aggravated by which factor. It may be that she might be allergic to some food stuff or some dust.
Try to note in which season it is less. Tell me whether the frequency of cough changes with location/ place?
You should consult your family physician for a thorough check up. If needed specific immunoglobulin E test may needed.
