Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Vomiting
I had a cold and generally I feel good except I haven t slept in a week due to a cough that is non stop. I ve been living off cough drops and they don t help. I ve taken Nyquil which usually makes me very tired and it hasn t helped. I have been coughing so hard that I ve been vomiting. Nothing seems to help and I just want to be able to sleep and stop coughing.

Your symptoms are suggestive of bronchitis. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam, a chest X-ray study and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR). Starting antibiotics may be needed.
