General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query. Your son's problem can be due bronchitis. In such case bronchodilator syrups like Levosalbutamol and anti histamines like Cetrizine ( Zyrtec ) will be helpful. Salbutamol nebulization also will be helpful. A cup of warm coffee also will give temporary relief. Consult your pediatrician after that. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Nishad BN
