Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough With Left-sided Chest Pain

Hello, i have had a chest bug which has been making me cough alot the last few days. now my left side is starting to give me extreme pain when i cough (where my spleen is) and it feels like it is swollen. is there something i can do instead of going to the doctor to make it feel better
