Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough With Yellow Phlegm

The beginning of my symptoms started roughly 3 days ago, at first it was just a regular cough then I started coughing up this greenish/ yellowish mucious and my coughing and hacking got more frequent. Well now day 3, my chest hurts real bad, i m having some trouble breathing, i feel real weak and tiered, and i get these frequent dizzey spells out of know were and last but certintly not least, I just found this lump or knot thingey derectly in the middle of my chest that just appeared out of now where and I think it s getting bigger. ( •Do You Or Any Other Doctor s Have Any Kind Of Idea s Of What Might Be Going On With Me?)

Hello and thanks for writing.

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. From your complaints it seems like you are having an episode of acute bronchitis or pneumonia.

I suggest that you consult a doctor early so that you may be examined and investigated for it. You may require a respiratory system check up along with few investigations like Chest X ray, CBC, sputum microscopy and others to get to a diagnosis.

Once the diagnosis is made you would be started on a management plan which may include antibiotics and other medications.
