Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been sick for about a week everything seem to have gotten better except this cough. Tonight i threw up and there was blood in it. Once i finished i stood up and realized that my nose was also bleeding. I was a little dizzy and i had a serious cramp in my stomach as i was throwing up. What is going on! Im still coughing and it hurts!
So,You should undergo routine blood investigations with sputum tests and X- ray chest to rule out any other pathology of lung.
There could be occasional bleeding come out during coughing so,there is no need to worry unless it is continuous. If nose bleeding is minor then it would be subsided by itself.
You will require full course of antibiotics (quinolones or cephalosporins) with antiinflammatory and antiallergic (antihistamines or steroids) with supportive treatment. You can take antacids with antispasmodics for stomach problem.
Consult Physician or pulmonologist for further advise.
