Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough
hello doctor, my daughter is 4 years old, and she is caughing a lot, i took her to the hospital, and they give an antibiotic and some other medecines, although she finished the course, i did not feel that she is getting better, so once back to school, the same thing is happening again. I want to know what to do ???

She might need to be seen again by a doctor. The antibiotic might not have been very effective, or she might just require a cough syrup. Other causes of cough especially in children like asthma should be considered. A chest X ray and a clinical review by her doctor are useful. Kind regards
