Suggest Treatment For Severe Coughs In A Child

my son is 14 yrs old, suddenly before 2 yrs he developed coughing for and could not be cured for long as each time i had to take him to dr for giving nebulizer, later i consulted apediatric dr who diognised him for pulomolgy deseases after PFT. he was given livolin and seretide 3 times a day 2 shots at each time, given through pump. this treatment continued for almost for 1.5 year and gradually the medication was put off and from april 2015 he was off the broncodialators. he was also given romilast 10 mg once daily at night for the period bronchodialators were on. now he is not on any medication. since april 2015. since 2-3 days he is suffering from cough which is like the same as before and he is having pain in the centre of upper chest. this seems to be the same problem like earlier. i have given him a cough syrup and sulbumotol syrup. my original doc is out of country and i have consultated another physician and he has advised for duolin respules 2.5 ml with 2.5 ml saline. should this be ok

It is mostly due to some sort of chest infection for which you can give your son some antibiotic preferably azithral or moxikind-cv after an expert opinion along with syrup wikoryl or no-cold for congestion and soreness. You can give him syrup asthakind or syrup bro-zedex for severe coughing. You can give him nebulisation also as advised by your physician.
