Suggest Treatment For Severe Cramps And Swelling Of Legs.

I have been having with arthritris in my legs & have recently had fluid extracted from my knee. Now the legs are very badly swollen & feel like they might burst. I am experiencing severe cramping in my toes, feet, and thighs. Is it possible that I may have a blood clot?

Good evening. Well from your history, it does sound like you have a Bakers Cyst which has ruptured. Bakers cyst is a a benign cyst which forms behind the knee joint when there is excessive swelling in the knees. If not treated, it can rupture and cause swelling, pain of the leg. You need to consult your doctor again. One injection into the knee which help resolve it. You can always get an Ultrasound done for the lower limbs to confirm it. Hope the information was useful
