Suggest Treatment For Severe Cramps In The Leg

I experience fairly consistent leg cramping, some cramping of my toes where they bend forward and have to be physically pulled back, and even some occasional finger cramping although this is rare. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this? I believe my potassium levels are normal and I drink at least an average amount of water daily although I do drink on 16 ounce coffee daily as well. Thank you. Ron

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
It appears that what symptoms you are experiencing could be due to calcium deficiency along with electrolyte imbalance.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Take Calcium supplementation in the form of Tablet and Syrup regularly along with increasing its dietary intake in the form of consuming milk regularly.
2. Take Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) regularly along with fluids like Tender Coconut Water to correct electrolyte imbalance, if any.
Gradually, you should get better and overcome the symptoms.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
