Hello and welcome to HCM,
The flakiness that you are experience on the scalp may not be due to dandruff.
The extreme flaking of scalp can be due to seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis is characterized by formation of white flanks on scalp, neck, shoulders and other parts of body.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis is known to be used by caused by anti-fungals so anti-fungal treatment needs to be started.
