Suggest Treatment For Severe Depression

I want to know if there is any over the counter meds for depression? I think my depression may be related to a thyroid problem, but have not been diagnosed with thyroid problems. I have sever symptoms for thyroid problems, i.e., hair loss, dry itchy skin, and I have to fight hard not to gain weight, much less lose weight.

The person is in Depression.

He needs to get treated.

The treatment of depression is combination therapy with Lifestyle changes [Diet and Exercise], medications and Psychotherapy.

He needs to consult a Psychiatrist, who can assess if he has mild or moderate depression and based on that Counselling sessions are planned along with medications called Antidepressants.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards
