Suggest Treatment For Severe Depression

Hi Dr, My sister had cerebral heamorrage 4yrs ago,she was pregnant 4 months at that time,had severe headache and fainted and become unconscious,on respirator,had tracheostomy,she survived,ok forawhile.now she is kind of depressed,because she can t got to work,she was a nurse before.she doesn t like any body specially husband s family,don t trust anybody,refused to go to see a Dr. please give an advice,this kind of behavior is the complicatins, Thanks. As i understand you sister is in depression and she is refusing to meet a doctor. i would like you to reassure her that her condition will be completely taken care by treatment of a psychiatrist.

she needs proper evaluation to know the actual status right now by a psychiatrist. if she is refusing to meet doctor take help of a psychological counselor to convince her. they will come home and counsel.

it will not be possible to give treatment just by history alone. see required through evaluation and treatment.

please do the needful as she needs your support for all the activity till she is comfortable.
