Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea While On Enterogermina

Hi my doctor prescribed enterogermina 2billion/5 ml oral suspension to my 5month old kid to prevent diarrhoea. 1. Could you please suggest us if we have to dilute it with milk or water (or) can be given directly? 2. We are storing it in cool place as per the directions on bottle, can we mix in warm milk if it has to be diluted or should be consumed cold. 3. Also he prescribed zincdrypowder for suspension for loose stool, pls let us know if this can be taken immediately after giving enterogermina. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Entrogermina may be taken alone or mixed with milk, has no problem at all.

Also, it may be given mixed with warm milk if your baby does not drink it cold. Zincdypowder may be given immediately after entrogermina use, no problem at all.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
