Suggest Treatment For Severe Dry Cough

i m suffering from dry cough diseases last year i have got asthama at minor level ... it was due to my bad habbit..smoking..and that time doc prescribed me some capsule which i have taken through rotocaps.. now after 1 year i got same stage that last i was.. so can u prescribe me any kind of medication here..

-Avoid smoking.
-Take inhaler Seroflo.
-Take steam inhalation through mouth and nose.
-Drink plenty of fluid.
-Do a chest X-ray.
