Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Infection Along With Lump Below Jaw

I m Jamie, I have an ear infection on the lobe due to an ear piercing. It has been oozy and bloody for a few days and will be seeking a doctor tomorrow. Now I have this lump below my jaw, so could that be due to the infection? I have no fever, but I am tired and have headaches.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The lump below the jaw is related to the infection in the ear.

It is likely a lymph node . These enlarge in response to infection/inflammation in the area where they are found.

When the infection in the ear is treated the node should decrease in size though this can take a few weeks to occur.

I hope this helps
