I went to an ENT due to pain in my ears and she cleaned it and said that due to accumulation of wax for long, my ear has been infected. I was prescribed Sofradex for 21 days (3 times a day - 3 drops each time). My ear pain has subsided a lot after the treatment. Its been almost 2 days but there is still a mild pain in my ears and also I experience blocked ear a bit. How long should I wait before I consult my ENT again regarding this?
Hi. Good to know that the cause of your problem is found and solved. In such conditions it is better to take a small course of oral antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines. Please request your ENT to give you one and may be the medicines you are instilling in the ear is causing the problems of feeling of blockage.
