Hi. my husband needs ear phones to drown out the noise to work. but he tends to get ear infections alot and ends up having to get his ears flushed often. is there an ear phone that he can use while working on his computer to drown out unneccessary noise. he works from home and we have a toddler. Was looking for something that wont bother his ears and possibly can use to plug into his computer or radio device.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your concerns about your husband. He needs earphones to keep the outside noise to minimum but is getting the recurrent ear infections. He is working from home and you have a toddler at home. I would advise his the following: First of all get an appointment of an ENT surgeon for proper clinical evaluation, examination to determine the cause whether this is just a fungal infection of the external ear canal or more than that. If this is simple fungal infection, this is 100% curable and then he can use any ear phones he wants. If there is perforation or so, further tests of CT scan and proper antibiotics and other medicines or surgery will cure his problems. In a nutshell this is treatable and then he can use any of the earphones he wishes to .
