Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain
Hi, for almost a week I have the worst ear pain in my left ear. I started having this pain after getting in the pool. I have no fever and no flu symptoms. Pain is like a knife to my ear and all the area surrounding it. I have been on Augmentin 875 mg for 3 days and I feel no difference. Can you please help me? thank you

I think you are suffering from otitis externa which may be fungal in origin i:e otomycosis. Start candibiotic ear drops 2 drops 4 times a day. Cwn take some painkiller if excessive. Do not let water inside your ear. If symptoms persist go for ear toileting to an ent.
