Suggest Treatment For Severe Earache And Sore Throat
Just went to urgent care with earache and sore throat. I was give a prescription for presnisone take 2 a day for 5 days 10 mg. i was also told to get sudafed. I told the doctor I take futicasone nasal spray but have not for several days. Arent these both steroids?

Steroid are strong anti-inflammatory drug and effective in relieving congestion...
So if congestion severe than only oral steroid prescribed.... For short duration....
Spray Is a local form and usually doesn't lead much side effect....
Salt water gargle and steam inhalation also beneficial...
Take vitamin C lozenges Two times a day...
If you are prescribed steroid than no need for use of other drug except antibiotic if condition not improves
