Suggest Treatment For Severe Elbow Pain Post Injury
I hit my elbow over 2 months ago and I ve had x-rays that came back normal. I still can t straighten my arm all way without pain. Can t lift thinks like I normally do. (I m a housekeeper) so no testing it. Don t know what else to do. My doctor just likes to push me off to other doctors. She don t like doing anything. I m out of options. And I hurt
You can apply hot and cold water packs alternately to relieve inflammation of your elbow. You can take painkillers like cipzox or flexon for few days. Give your arm rest for few days. Apply a crepe bandage for support. Apply local anti-inflammatory gel like volini or moov. Soft tissue and ligament injury also take 2 to 3 weeks or more to heal naturally, and therefore be patient and take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Manisha Roy
