Suggest Treatment For Severe Facial Acne
Hello sir, I started taking Dexona last month but I have pimples all over my face now. I was also told there are many side effects done by this tablets and it scared me. Therefore I stop taking but my face is still the worst. Can you kindly take your time in replying what should I do now to have a clear face again and also suggest me a good vitamin or weight gainer which doesn t have side effects. Thank you

I can understand your concern for acneiform eruptions on the face due to steroid. It is good that you stopped to take dexona.
I would suggest....
- minocycline 50 mg twice a day
- vitamin A cap thrice a day
- apply clindamycine gel on the lesions
- cleansing face wash like acmed face wash
- avoid stress..

As per your case history of Acne , my treatment advice is -
1. Dexona is steroid which leads to flare of Acne. So never use it again .
2. Take general precautions - avoid sun exposure, don't squeeze the lesions, avoid cosmetics.
3. Use a deep cleansing face-wash like Acwash twice daily.
4. Apply a Clindamycin gel like Glocin gel once at night on pimples.
5. Other treatment options are oral doxycycline, minocycline and isotretinoin taken only after consulting a dermatologist .
