How To Treat Facial Acne?

I'm a girl of 21. I was having cystic acne for last 4 to 5 yrs. Mt face had got red evrywher n also spots were there. A year ago a skin doctor finally cured it. He had suggested me to take Sotret tablet for 2 times after lunch and dinner, and a gel named "faceclin" to use in morning time only and Sotret gel to use only at night before going to bed. During the period of treatment he had told me not to use any facewash. After 3 months treatment he told me to do salicylic peeling treatment, but I didn't do. Gradually with the gels (without taking the Sotret tablet) I got cured completely & my face was totally clear.Later I left using those gels & used other commercial productNow i see pimples again on my face. Though it's in mild condition, still it bothers me that it may get worse as before. So what should I do?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand that you had nodulocystic acne, for which you had taken Isotretinoin( Sotret) and had noticed considerable improvement and have now developed newer lesions.
You must remember that acne is a chronic problem related to age and hormonal changes associated with age. It starts around puberty and could go on even into adulthood.
If you have noticed mild acne again, I would suggest that you start using the gels that you have mentioned in your query. If it does not come under control with gels alone, you may need oral azithromycin / doxycycline. In some cases, you may need isotretinoin again. You could also get salicylic peels done to improve acne.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
