Hi Sougata and thanks for asking us on HCM.

I am sorry that you have PCOS - the excess facial hair from this disorder can be very irritating to many young ladies.

Ovagrace is a vitamin mixture of folic acid and vit D3 - yes, it is suitable for you.

It is difficult to be rid of hirsutism as long as your PCOS is not adequately controlled but you could consider asking your doctor to give you spironolactone. Spironolactone will help to block the activity of the excess androgens produced by your ovaries on your hair follicles, thus reducing hirsutism. Spironolactone does have its own side effects which include fatigue, headaches, dry skin and sometimes irregular vaginal bleeding.

The best way to beat hirsutism is to beat PCOS. If you are overweight, weight loss will improve the severity of your PCOS symptoms in leaps and bounds. Reducing your carbohydrate intake (rice, bread, pasta, noodles, sweet beverages, fruits, candies) will help. Eat clean and increase your intake of fresh vegetables and protein. PCOS is also associated with insulin resistance, which means diabetes in later life. Losing weight will also reduce your risk of developing diabetes. Exercising regularly will also help - you are just 18, there is a lot you can do to improve your situation.

Take care and good luck
