Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever, Pain In The Abdomen And Blood In Urine
Good evening, I have a question about my sister s condition. She just turned 48. She sees some blood in her urine, she feels pain in her abdomen, she has to go to pee pretty often (she almost pees herself) and in general feels weak. She has a fever. What could that be? She thinks that is a kidney stone. She is taking antibiotics and takes hot baths to soothe the pain. She does not have any insurance - so she does not go to any doctor. Could you have any suggestions what to do?
The symptoms are typical of urinary tract infection. Consult a physician and do a urine culture and sensitivity and start antibiotics according to the culture reports. Nothing much to worry and you will definitely improve with proper antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
