Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter is having symptoms of severe fever which is a sign of viral or bacterial infection. It seems to be due to poor and compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to give your daughter short course of antibiotics such as Amoxicillin or azithromycin for 5-7 days along with antihistamine such as Chlorpheniramine. You should use room humidifier and vapor rub that will give benefits to your child. Steam inhalation is very effective but you have to be very careful while giving it to your child. Take diet rich in vitamin B12. Visit pediatrician once and get it examined. Get blood and urine test done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe antiviral medications.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is the viral fever then it will take 3 to 4 days to come around if it long last then it may requires complete blood count, urine test, and clinical examination too, till then you can continue Acetaminophen, care needs to be taken for dehydration hope this information helps.
