Hi,
The most common causes for
bloating are:
(1) Use of gas producing foods such as cabbage, cauliflower, beans, carbonated drinks, broccoli, brusel sprouts, turnips, prunes etc
(2) GERD-
acid reflux is a common cause- you would need to reduce foods such as carbonated drinks, citrus juices/fruit, mint, tomato, caffeine products, use small meals and no eating at least 2 hours before laying down
(3) Constipation
You can look at your diet to see if any foods or drinks can be contributing. Consider the use of
reflux medication such as
Prevacid,
Prilosec etc. If the pain/tenderness is moderate or severe, you may need to be seen.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
