Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Fall And Bald Spots On Head
Hi! The depo shot has caused me to gain about 30 pounds in a two month period and I stopped taking it my last shot was about 2 months ago. My hair is falling out in clumps and I have a bald spot. My bones hurt in my knees during the night so bad it wakes me up a lot. Still haven t been able to get this weight off at all. And now there s a significant amount of blood in my stool. Could this be a bad problem I should visit the hospital for (signs of something worse)? And when will this madness end? I wanna sue somebody cause this effects my job my money is based on my appearance and mood and needless to say, they have not been good as of late.
You may have to stop the depo injections due to the severe side effects. Generally, the side effects subside by 2 to 3 cycles after the body adjusts to the hormone levels. In some women, adverse effects may continue for months. You can stop the drug and shift to other methods of contraception. Symptoms will reduce in the next cycles when the hormone is completely flushed out of the system.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
