Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss Problem Caused After Typhoid Fever
How to treat severe hair loss post typhoid fever? i m a female. i had typhoid fever 2 months before. from that time i m losing a lot of hairs, almost bunches of hairs, while washing, combing even while messaging with any oil. my hairs were so heavy .
The hair loss should stop since you have been treated successful for typhoid. You also need to evaluate the medications you are on because several of them can cause hair loss. Hair loss can also be caused by emotional stress, diets, hypothyroidism, chronic and acute illnesses, and fevers. Hair loss is generally caused by alterations in the normal hair cycle which results in thinning and shedding of the hair. Treatment of the illness and stopping the potential medication will almost always result in return of normal hair growth. There are medications that can be used to help hair growth, but they have to be prescribed by a medical professional. In the meantime, I would get routine screening blood work as several metabolic and endocrine dysfunctions can also cause hair loss.
