Hi,

First, your thyroid health needs to be checked. Hair fall is the result and not a condition of its own. Doctors may use many topical preparations for hair fall, but only topical plain Minoxidil and Oral Finasteride are globally accepted standards of treating hair fall. You could take plain Minoxidil instead after checking with your doctor.

Oral Finasteride has caused a decrease in sperm counts on long term use, causing sterility is remote. Discuss your age, marriage and children plans beforehand. Topical finasteride alone or in combination with minoxidil is not approved globally but used by doctors in India.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
