Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

Hello Dr. This is suhasini 24yrs Last year Dec-2015 i was suffered from Typhod fever from that time on wards i am suffering from major hair loss unitl now. i consulted dr even he gave some hair serum and tablets but then also my loss had not yet stopped kindly suggest some other treatments.

I understand your concern.
Any severe illness can cause hair loss. Stress is one of the main causes of this, and typhoid fever can certainly cause stress.
Most of the times, lost hair would return, but time could vary. It may sometimes take about 3 to 6 months.
Kindly take medications containing Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Selenium and Biotin regularly. Also use shampoo containing Selenium regularly.
You need to eat a healthy diet like plenty of vegetables, fruits and include foods which are rich in omega 3 fatty acids for aiding hair growth. Practice meditation to calm your mind and reduce stress.
