Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Body Pain
Checked bp at Wal-Mart. It was 155/104, have had a headache and neck and shoulder pain all day. Woke up this morning neck was so stiff with a headache I could hardly walk. Major headache behind left ear.can I continue to monitor bp (no history of high blood pressure), or is this super dangerous.
There are different stages of high blood pressure, this reading would fall under stage 2 which is the higher stage.
It is not likely to cause acute (immediate) damage to your body but if it continues at this level then there is a risk of complications associated with high blood pressure. It would be best to have your readings rechecked at your doctor's office. You can take your own blood pressure machine so that the readings on your machine and the office machine can be cross checked to ensure accuracy.
If your readings remain in this range, then medication and lifestyle changes are needed. There is a diet called the D.A.S.H diet that is recommended to help decrease blood pressure, details are available online.
I hope this helps
