Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I ve been experiencing severe headaches spanning the entire head, neck region along with complete exhaustion and fatigue for about 6 days now. OTC s won t take away the headaches and they wake me up at night. It s never been a problem of mine. Occasional sinus headaches but nothing the an OTC wouldn t fix, or some sinus meds for a few days. It s gone on far to long and is interfering with work and sleep.
As the intensity of pain over head is severe, interfering with work and sleep pattern; there can be underlying issues with blood pressure alteration, neurologic disturbances or else rather than simple flu or other issue. Kindly get vital parameters as blood pressure, blood sugar and vision checked with your doc for further guidelines. Till that time, maintain your hydration with plenty of liquids and if available, measure your blood pressure with digital machine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
