Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Increased Heart Rate
My 17 yr old son is getting excruciating headaches at the back of his head when his heart rate goes up when exercising. This has happened 3 times in the last 2 days. It eases as his heart rate decreases. He says it is not like a normal headache. He feels like his head is going to explode.
Hi...Can understand your concerns..As per your query about having severe headache at back of head along with increased heart rate seems to be migraine head ache or a tension headache.Sometimes children are sensitive at this age and should not be scolded or any harsh words about worries related to exams..I advice a CTscan and an x ray to find out any underlying cause by consulting a physician .for the time being you can give him analgesic like paracetamol when pain is severe.I hope the information helps you...Take care.
