Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache, Dizzy Spell And Head Pressure
Hello, I had a bad headache/migraine 8 days ago and ever since then I have had an odd sensation in my head that kind of feels like a headrush/micro dizzy spell and pressure in my head/face. If I get up too quickly I see stars. It started with each episode lasting for seconds and happened about 20 times per day but over the week it s much more frequent. It is not alleviated by me lying down but in fact becomes more noticeable. I am otherwise fine although awaiting an operation in two weeks for endometriosis excision. Thank you
Avoid these triggers of lack of sleep, fatigue, stress, certain foods, any vasodilator. If you use oral contraceptive it must be replaced under gynecologist's guidance. Check your BP and headache daily and write in a diary, it will help in treatment. Trexinet can help but not if you are pregnant or if you have any CVS risk. Take a gynecologist's opinion. You should join online sahaj meditation course of 'Art of Living' course. It can eliminate migraine if done daily and researches also shows that.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
