Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife had 3 old fillings replaced on the the top and bottom of the left side of her mouth 2 weeks ago. After a week of headaches it was discovered that 1 filling was too high and thus grinded/ground down. This past week the headaches have become more painful and frequent. She went back to dentist and xrays show that the cavities are not deep and didn t appear to damage nerves. Without aleve and tylenol she can t get by. What could this be?

Hi, thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
As oral X ray is not showing any pressure on nerve. it could be incidental, better to get evaluated. get examined by your doctor and relevant investigations.
Some times after cavity filling procedure some amount of edema will be there. Which may put pressure over nerve.
Regards
