Hello. I am 57 yo female. I have had bad headaches since a very bad cold approx 5 weeks ago. The pain moves all the time. It has gone from left base of skull that radiated over my head to left eye now it is all forehead, sharp pain in left ear when I swallow and sharp pain in both temples. I have seen eye surgeon who can t find anything wrong. I m feeling very lethargic and find I just want to lay down a lot.

Hello,

Your symptoms suggest a sinus infection as the cause of your headache. You will require a short course of antibiotics along with decongestants and steam inhalation to get rid of infection. Till then analgesics can control headache.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
