Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Anger Issues
I have been prescribed this med orcarbazepine for nerve damage after been the victim of an armed robbery. I have headaches and angry issues. He stopped my Neurontin. I am afraid of the side effects. I am a prostate cancer survivor and have trouble urinating at times and bleeding in the past. I also have a hx of migraines. I could not tolerate Cymbalta. Isn t this a drastic option for me? no nerve conduction study or any other tests, except CT which showed an injury very much like whiplash.
The symptoms are consistent with common causes like migraine or tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intra cranial (inside the brain) causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
