Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Dizziness
waking with severe headache, some spatial disturbance (sensation more than visual) a dizziness and sluggishness. tends to clear withing 1-2 hours. have taken ssri for 4 weeks but due to low benefit and side effects stopped 2 weeks ago. these later symptoms have been occurring intermintently and to different degrees over the last 6 months but have been on a variety of drugs (eg HCV cure) that I have discounted them as associated. Im inclined to think now that they are persistent but to varying symptom intensity

You are suggested to get physically examined by an ENT so that the dizziness that you are experiencing can be studied because Vertigo causes dizziness & can be associated with headache.
1. Get audiological tests done to assess the hearing thresholds, CT & MRI to assess structural & functional CNS studies.
2. Get assessed & treated for headache, a headache can be of many types(tension headache, migraine, persistent headache, etc).
Your treatment will depend upon the disease/pathology diagnosed. In the meantime, you can take medications for pain (acetaminophen-Tylenol, Ibuprofen).
Avoid addictions or drug abuse, reduce stress, exercise regularly, reduce caffeine, do not skip meals, stay away from oily junk food.
Cold compress effectively reduces headache, drink adequate water & take sufficient sleep.
