Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Fever

Hello doctor...I m 34 weeks 6 day s pregnant. I ve been advised my my gynae doctor to inject betnosol (12mg) for 2 days yesterday.After injecting I went back home.late in the evening I suffered from severe headache n mild fever.Today I went to inject my second dose.still I m not feeling well.is it due to the intake of betnosol.I m tensed.

I have gone through your query and I can understand your conccerns.
I think you are having hypertension during this pregnancy period and your doctors planning for an early delivery probably on 37 weeks.Since you are having an early delivery it is essential to maintain lung maturity of your baby.Betnosol is a steroid drug and two doses are given to improve lung maturity in preterm babies.
Betnosol does not cause head ache.I think your headache is most probably due to hypertension or some other causes.So you don't need to worry regarding this and you can safely take betnosol as prescribed by your doctor.
