Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches, Nausea And Sweating
Yes! I have a 41 year old daughter who has severe headaches with sweating, and nausea. She had a pseudo tumor on her optic nerve which, I think was resolved. She took her Topamax, but it is not helping. She currently has seizures and tics. What can she do to alleviate this headache and excessive swelling. She also takes something for her nausea. I have advised her to go the ER, but in the past nothing has been resolved. She has them so severe that she loses conscience. That is what happened last night.

You need to refer your daughter to a neurologist. An adjustment of her medications is needed. The neurologist might order a blood test to check if the current medication is at suitable levels. Then he might add other medications that help control the seizures after ordering EEG, and MRI tests.
