I had a drop in temperature to 94.4 along with a sever headache about a month ago. I took ibproprin and problem went away in about a day. last night I got a severe headache again and checked my temperature an it was 96.2. Woke up this morning and it was 97.5, now 98.2 What are the possible causes?
Hello Welcome to HCM. It may be due to injury to thalamus which is temperature regulating part in brain. It also causes headache. Please consult your physician for CT scan and examinations. Please take paracetamol or ibuprofen tablet. Hope it will work. Thanks for contacting. Take care...

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.The normal body temperature can vary between 97.8 to 99.Some times in sleep you may get even low temperature due to body exposing to cold surrounding.Your head ache can be due to sinusitis or variation in Blood pressure.Your blood pressure should be checked and ENT examination to rule out any sinus problems should be done.If it is sinusitis then nasal decongesants and antibiotic therapy will help.If there is hypertension or hypotension also you can get severe head ache.In such case it should be managed also.Hope this may help you.
