Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches

I experienced a thunderclap headache, similiar to being hit by a sledge hammer on the base of the skull. Ct scan, lumbar puncture, MRI and MRA , without contrast have not revealed anything. I m happy nothing has been found but still wondersd why it happened. Shiuld I ask to be referred. Thank you
