I am having a severe headache problem. It varies from one side of brain to another. Also at the corresponding forehead near eyebrow. The pain lasts for more than a day. I usually take vasograin to combat with it. but sometimes even vasograin donot works. It is must for me to sleep after having vasograin otherwise it will show no effect. I have been suffering from this problem from last 10 years. It is in my heredity. My father too suffered from the same problem. The pain is repeatitive. Its frequency is almost more than 20 times a month. It triggers more to that side of head, if i attend any call or use mobile phone. Please help me out.
From the presentaion you are suffering from migrain. If i have to treat such a patient i will advise for acute relief tab bruffen with peracetamol and tramadol and tab stemetal. For prophylaxis to prevent reoccurance tab propranolol starting with low dosage grsdually incease and tab flunarizine once a day. There are more drugs we can try. You must have proper sleep , avoid stress and take proper rest.

Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic It is possible that you may have migraines. These can cause severe headaches and there may be family history of headaches (your father having headaches as well). The headaches last longer than 4 hours and may last for days in some persons and tends to occur on one side of the head, like yours. Since your headaches occur so often, you may want to try prophylactic medication. This refers to medication to stop the headaches from occurring. Examples are amitriptyline, topiramate, propanolol, valproic I hope this helps
