Hello,

I read your message carefully and understood your medical problem.

Let me recapitalize your case:

- you have urination troubles: pee a lot, foggy pee
- previous bladder infection
- heartburn, sharp pain in stomach, constipation

Your previous bladder infection has weakened the bladder walls which causes the urination disturbances.

The foggy pee indicates a new infection which needs to be determined. Urine tests like urine analysis, urine culture and sensitivity testing and abdominal ultrasound must be done.

If you have treated the previous bladder infection (BI) with antibiotics, they can alter the intestinal flora, causing the symptoms you are currently having like constipation or heartburn.

Constipation may cause abdominal sharp pains. Heartburn can be due to reflux because of GERD or hyperacidity stomach issues triggered by infection (which is a kind of stress) and/or medications you have used to treat bladder infection.

Bladder infection itself is also causing heartburn, sharp pains in the stomach especially during or after emptying your bladder.

Now, at this moment, the very first thing to do is to run the above mentioned tests to exclude a new bladder infection in order to treat it accordingly.

Antispasmodic medications (buscopan, spasmex, etc.) can be used to ease spasms of urinary tract caused by infection.

Increase fluids intake especially water. Avoid salt and sugary/oily/spicy/caffeinated drinks/foods that might overstimulate bladder.

For constipation, take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora. Increase fiber intake (e.g. fruits, vegetables, etc.) avoid dairy foods, take gentle laxatives (senna) and stool softeners (lactulose).

Hope this helped.
