Suggest Treatment For Severe Hip Pain

Hello I have a constant grinding in my right hip which is getting worse I ve had it for 2 years and I m frequently on crutches to ease the pain. My left hip is now starting to hurt and also grind but not as severe as my right hip. I am also currently 12 weeks pregnant. I have been seeing a consultant for 1 year and had several xrays and MRI scan with no diagnosis can you help?

I feel really sorry for the pains you have. Ican realize your worries regarding your health issues. Now as you are pregnant, we can't add any medications to harm the baby. So choice of medicine limits to a much larger extent in pregnancy.

Sometimes we have to give disease modifying agents in such pains, sometimes Immunosuppressants, sometimes high potency pain killers or even Opioids. And all of them are very harmful to the baby.

But I am here to help you always. So I will recommend a safer drug for you to reduce pain to some extent. Only drug right now thats good for the baby's safety too is Tylenol.

Meanwhile, please upload all the Labs reports, MRI, CT XRays (any of the diagnostics) in a follow up query so that I may diagnose the case properly and if I feel good and safe, I will help you with the drugs for start of treatment of your disease in the best possible way.
